This thesis aimed to analyze the photobooks in order to comprehend how photographs are associated through the construction of the graphic project, page layout, as well as photo sequence based on the theory of cinematic montage. Therefore, this thesis was intended to summarize the emergence of photography as a process inserted in the evolution of the media, to subsequently reflect on its place as pages of books, its qualities and power of association, seeing that this specific kind of images, according to Etienne Samain’s concept (2012a), are 'images associated with other images', whether they are visible/external memories or mental/inner ones.
Research and production of sound memory records associated with visual anthropology and design projects.
